Persis is one of the seven duchies of Begnion and is ruled by Begnion's Prime Minister Sephiran, who also holds the title of Duke of Persis. It is located in the far northeast of Begnion, across the land bridge between Lake Semper and the sea. The duchy is never visited in the course of the Tellius Series.
Etymology
The region of Persia was once known as Persis by its local inhabitants.
Trivia
- Data in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance suggests that Persis was at one point planned to be not a duchy of Begnion but a separate kingdom.
