Strike is a weapon type introduced in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. In Fire Emblem Heroes, it is referred to the Beast weapon type. In general, it is a weapon category for natural weapons such as claws or fangs.

Overview

In Radiant Dawn, laguz attacks are categorized as strikes. The only non-laguz strike attack is Judge, an attack used by Ashera. The vast majority of strike attacks deal physical damage, save for Judge, and the White Breath of White Dragons.

Strike attacks are considered unarmed attacks using the combatant's natural abilities. As such, they cannot be unequipped, nor can they be purchased or sold at shops, and they have unlimited usage.

When a laguz unit raises their weapon level in Strike, their Might is raised by 5 points, and in some cases, the weapon's Hit Percentage may also improve, such as for a dragon's breath). All laguz units begin with a Strike weapon level of A at minimum.

In Heroes, Beast weapons are natural weapons wielded primarily by shapeshifting characters such as laguz, manaketes, wolfskin, and taguel.
