The Kingdom of Ast is a holy kingdom in Fire Emblem Shadows. They worship Naga, the goddess of light.

The royal capital of the Kingdom of Ast was invaded and conquered by an antagonistic empire aligned with Fenris, the goddess of shadows. The king offered his life in exchange for his soldiers, but the empire chose to slaughter the king alongside his queen and soldiers. The king's child, Kurt, was able to flee alongside a few retainers.
