Wind magic is one of the three core Magic types in the Fire Emblem franchise.
Overview
Wind is one of the three Anima magics found throughout the Fire Emblem series alongside Fire and Thunder . Between the three, Wind are generally the lightest in Weight and highest in Accuracy, but are the weakest in Might and usually average of the three in Critical Hit chance.
Visually, most Wind spells focus on generating blades of wind, usually starting as a singular arced wind blade at its lowest. These can increase to launching multiple wind blades at once, creating a localized windstorm of blades, and creating small tornadoes. Some powerful wind spells may even have ice properties such as Blizzard. Even more humorously is a Nohrian Tome that can disrobe a target if it hits. Notably, it is the only one of the three anima magics to lack a long range wind spell.
Wind Magic in most games have the natural bonus of dealing effective damage to Flying Units.
