The Cyclops is an enemy-only Monster class that is exclusive to Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. One-eyed giants possessing superhuman strength, Cyclops decapitate their foes with massive Axes. Unlike most monster classes, there is no weaker, unpromoted variant of the Cyclops.

Overview

Combat

Cyclops sport incredibly high HP, Strength, and Defense, making them comparable to Generals or Berserkers. Their attacks can inflict significant damage when they hit, but their low Skill and Speed make them easy to dodge. Combined with the fact that they solely wield Axes as their weapon of choice, any decently evasive sword user can engage them with little to no worry. Cyclops also have very low Resistance, so magic users and especially Bishops can deal great damage to them, something that not even their massive HP can withstand comfortably.

Trivia

• Some Cyclops that are found in the higher levels of the Tower of Valni or the Lagdou Ruins come with an S-Rank in axe proficiency, making them one of the few generic enemies to be fully proficient in a weapon type.
