Midgard is home to the nations of Askr and the Embla, which neighbor each other on the continent of Zenith.

Etymology

Midgard, also called Midgardr or Miðgarðr, is derived from old Norse and the name of the realm of man, or Earth, in Norse mythology. It translates more directly to 'Middle Enclosure' in reference to the realm's place as sitting at roughly the midpoint of Yggdrasil, the World Tree. Midgard was said to have been created from the body of the giant Ymir.
