Metodey appears leading a force of Imperial soldiers after Archbishop Rhea, Byleth, and students from the Officers Academy enter the Goddess' Holy Tomb beneath Garreg Mach Monastery. Under orders from Edelgard, he and his troops had been tracking the group to learn the tomb's location. His men plunder the Crest Stones from the graves and attempt to flee with them, but are forced to fight Byleth and the students. In the following battle, Metodey can either end up slain or surviving if Edelgard is defeated before him. If he does survive, he won't make any other appearances and his fate is left unknown.
Cindered Shadows
"Just a minute! The following section contains spoilers. Viewing it will cost a lot. Are you prepared to pay for it?"

Metodey and his men are hired by an employer, capturing Aelfric and demanding that the students relinquish the Chalice of Beginnings to free him. He and his men ambush Byleth and their students at the rendezvous point. Hapi sighs, causing several giant monsters to appear and fight for them, much to Metodey's shock, as he did not expect monsters in Garreg Mach.
He may be fought by Edelgard, where he expresses shock and surprise by her appearance. If defeated by her, he will scream for his life and she will comment he isn't worth following. Regardless, he is eventually defeated and withdraws, more interested in his future prospects with the Empire.
Warriors: Three Hopes
In Three Hopes, Metodey is not initially depicted as associated with the Adrestian army. He is instead encountered as an independent bandit, and the circumstances of encountering him vary depending on the story route.
Scarlet Blaze
Metodey's first appearance in Scarlet Blaze is in the Chapter 8 side quest "Keep the Peace", where he and his gang terrorize a village located near the Western Church.
He appears again in the main quest of Chapter 12, where he takes advantage of the chaos in Hrym territory to attack innocent civilians. He is eventually tracked down and killed by the Imperial Army, but not before poisoning Leonie, who had arrived on the scene to escort some of its villagers to safety.
Azure Gleam
Metodey is appointed a general of the Imperial Army following Edelgard falling into the clutches of Thales after the Battle of Arianrhod and the appointing of Ludwig as Emperor Regent, where he was stationed in the Western Church. He orders Balthus, who is under contract by the Empire, to attack civilians, and sends his own band of assassins after Balthus when he inevitably refuses to comply.
Golden Wildfire
Metodey appears in the main quest of Chapter 13, where he takes advantage of the chaos in Ordelia territory to attack innocent civilians. He is eventually tracked down and killed by the Leicester Federation army, but not before poisoning Dorothea, who had arrived on the scene to escort some of its villagers to safety.
Other Appearances
If Metodey is not killed in any of the above scenarios before it is unlocked, he appears as the boss of the paralogue "The Ashen Wolves' Reunion".
Personality
Metodey is ruthless in following his orders and appears to take pleasure in killing, but when fatally wounded himself, he expresses surprise and fear.
